About
Choice 2.0 Blog has three categories:
Patient Forum
The Patient Forum shares stories from our health centers from both a provider and patient perspective. If there is interesting health information we run across we’ll put that in here as well. We will post survey results, conduct polls, and encourage conversation.
This is a positive space to discuss health care and reproductive health issues. Posts that attempt to sabatoge the discussion will be removed. We will not tolerate offensive posts.
Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina (PPCNC)
In the PPCNC category, our staff and supporters have the opportunity to discuss relevant news stories, research findings, and commentary.
*Engage PPCNC constituents including activists, parents, peer educators, college students, clients, and donors – in ways that are meaningful to them and advance our mission
*Ensure that PPCNC activities are integrated with appropriate online and off-line components to maximize impact.
*Identify new audiences and innovative digital ways of reaching out to them, including creating new on-line communities and bringing them into the wider Planned Parenthood family
*Evolve organizational culture to one that understands and embraces the opportunities of digital technologies
*Share PPCNC’s digital experience with funders and partner organizations.
Non-Profit Technology
The Non-Profit Technology category holds all things web2.0. Through this, we will share our progress going from web 1.0 to a more connected and interactive online presence. We’ll include updates on our Connectivity Goals, our technology-based advocacy project funded by the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, and other web 2.0 tips or ideas we run across.
