Whatever happened with North Carolina's sex education bill? Did it pass? Is there an update? Thanks!

We're very happy to report that the Healthy Youth Act has been signed into law by Gov. Bev Perdue. The law reinstates comprehensive sex education to all NC schools. Beginning in 2010-2011 school year, all seventh-, eighth-, and ninth-graders will receive abstinence education plus comprehensive information about birth control and keeping themselves safe.
